As the SmartAgriHubs (SAH) project reaches the end of its funded cycle following its final event, the international network reflect on the successes of the project over the last four years and how it has brought ‘innovators’ and ‘end users’ together to bring innovative solutions to the market and accelerate their effective deployment.
In the latest SAH newsletter, cluster leaders Evi Arachoviti from IfA and Hazel Peavoy from Walton Institute, Ireland, share how the Ireland and UK Regional Cluster has grown from a network of 14 to over 100 in just four years. During this time, VistaMilk and AgriEpi have been core partners, supporting other innovators throughout the network.
The newsletter also shares how the Nefertiti project benefited from the Smart Agri Hubs’ Synergy Days in Lisbon. For example, the days provided the opportunity to inform and train different actors on ‘Farm demonstration’ best practices and methodologies, and also to raise awareness of the ‘Farm Demo’ platform.
