There is increasing pressure on the livestock sector to produce milk and meat more efficiently while meeting environmental and welfare expectations. The conference agenda has been put together to provide a valuable opportunity for producers to discover practical solutions that can be implemented on-farm around these challenges.
Organised by RAFT Solutions, the conference will explore how precision technologies are transforming dairy and beef farming, helping producers improve productivity, enhancing animal health and welfare, reducing environmental impact, and supporting producers to make more informed management decisions.
The morning session will feature international speakers, including Professor Daniël Berckmans, KU Leuven & University of Tennessee, widely recognised as the father of precision livestock farming. The afternoon will start with practical workshops looking at the technology and stock on the Harper Adams Future Farm and conclude with a panel session addressing the issues of the day.
