Connecting the dots in the agri-tech network

*POSTPONED*

"It is with great regret that due to the increasing concerns about the spread of covid-19, SmartAgriHubs has taken the decision to postpone its Bucharest Conference, which was due to have been held at the Radisson Hotel in Bucharest from the 9th of March.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause, but we are sure you will agree that the health and safety of our members, participants and all those involved, must be our highest priority.

Romania is at the moment a low-risk destination, but we are aware of people's increasing anxiety about meetings involving large numbers of international speakers and participants. We therefore prefer to take a precautionary approach and to potentially help to contain the virus. The conference will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined.

Important practical information
All registered participants who have paid the 100€ in catering costs shall be reimbursed these catering costs in full. This reimbursement shall be done automatically on the credit card number used during registration. All bookings for the Radisson BLU hotel done through the link provided by SmartAgriHubs, can be cancelled before the 8th of March without any penalty. Every participant should take care of cancelling their own hotel reservation, either through the link or the confirmation email they received from the hotel.  You are advised to contact your travel provider or agency yourselves immediately regarding costs already incurred for travel tickets. The SmartAgriHubs Consortium does not accept any liability in this regard."

On behalf of the organisation team we thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,

George Beers
SmartAgriHubs Project Coordinator

Marking the first year of the Smart Agri Hubs project, the SAH Stakeholder Conference will be a celebration of the projects' accomplishments. From launching an Innovation Portal to establishing more profound links with and between the Digital Innovation Hubs, Competence Centers and Flagship Innovation Experiments. Nonetheless, a lot of work remains to be done. Working towards creating a shift at the European level requires dedication, cooperation, diversity and innovation. In order to keep on working towards that goal, it is essential that throughout the project all the partners and stakeholders are provided with opportunities to connect with one another. This is why, in addition to the stakeholder's event on the first day, the second and third days are dedicated to building synergy within the project and with other similar Horizon 2020 initiatives.
